Pros

Cafeteria with pleasant staff.

Cons

Large corporation that seemed to be losing touch with their employees, tending to overwork people rather than training new staff to help with the workload. There were only a few months out of the year that didn’t have mandatory overtime.

Pros

Flexible work arrangements. A real desire to bring innovation to an old company in a traditional industry.

Cons

Historically risk adverse - so inconsistent practices and mixed messages across organization. You need to be lucky to work for a more forward thinking manager / department - otherwise your experience can be very different than the person sitting next to you.
