Pros

Safe company insurance company. Changes only occur when there is new leadership. Its a job - some groups are better than others.

Cons

Frown upon creativity and new ideas. Its a "do as your told" and "stay in your lane" organization. Compenation below the VP level is horrible and there is no bonus structure below the VP level.

Pros

Good Cafeteria food in the NY office. Casual dress policy bodes well with many. You can sleep in the bathroom stalls.

Cons

Management has an outdated outlook. Six Sigma has been around since the early 80's yet, thats what they have embaced now. Too much reliance on consultants who are there to make money for themselves. Inconsistant message: Stealth layoffs being conducted while management tells staff that things are going well.
