Pros

Pharmacy is large with lots of open space and employees there are laid back. I really loved my team and trainers.

Cons

They wouldnt give me the hours I needed. They said I could only work 20 hours each week until I'm trained but that means it would take twice as long to be trained! Then they kept changing my hours even though they said I could pick my schedule. I didnt have gas and no gas money so they fired me because of the no tolerance policy. No hearts!!! This was the week after the owner visited and gave a speech about how he wants it to be a world class place to work and he invents in his employees. Thats why you hardly pay your employees and then fire them when they cant afford to come in?? One of the HR ladies was rude from the time I started and never liked me. No wonder she pushed me out. Its a bad sign when the pharmacy director is bailing. There is so much drama and bad moral here and it's clear who is causing it, but they still let her run the place. I guess no one else can take it too. This place is terrible, all the employees are miserable.

Pros

There are a few points in previous reviews that are worth addressing here: 1. Please check your numbers again. Saliba's Pharmacy is now one of higher paying LTC pharmacies. 2. The "no Spanish" rule came about because it was discovered that some people who were speaking Spanish were talking badly about coworkers during work. It created a toxic environment. Of course Spanish is still allowed when helping customers. 3. Sometimes vacation in data entry for 2 people on the same day cannot be accommodated. This is because the requested day might fall on the same day when multiple other people already have their weekly 2 days off. This is a small price for data entry to pay for being the highest paid department in the building. 4. To the reviewer from 7/3/15 who stated he put in his 2 weeks then was let go shortly after: You must have forgotten the fact that the day after you put your notice in you were a no-call, no-show for half of the day. You "forgot" to let anyone know that you had an appointment that morning. Also, it's spelled "mediocre." And your numbers could not have been that great when you were late most days or went home sick. Yes, some of the overtime is mandatory but not always. And the data entry supervisor is very flexible with schedules. She bends over backwards to accommodate her team. She has turned data entry around 180 degrees in the years since she started. Her door is always open and she genuinely cares about every member of her team. I'm not saying Saliba's Pharmacy is perfect; no workplace is. But we are appreciated and our voices are heard. The president's door is literally open whenever he is in the pharmacy, which is very often. He knows every one of his 100+ employees by name. Can you say that about the LTC pharmacies you've worked for? We strive to provide World Class Service and a World Class Work Environment and I think we do a spectacular job.

Cons

Country Music Thursday Some of the directors could stand to be more open minded and respectful of other management members and staff employees.
