Pros

The 40% discount, which was actually once 50% There are no other reasons to want to or enjoy working at Guess.

Cons

- Managers do not care or ask anything about your life other than at work. - Forced to make un-reasonable sales targets. - If you make your sales target, you get no recognition. - Long-term employees receive maximum $1.00 raise after 1 year. - Guess pays staff minimum wage. - Managers force associates to talk to every customer to the point the customer gets irritated and leaves the store. - There is no commission. - Managers make no contribution to sales and play on their cellphones throughout the day.

Pros

The benefits and compensation were fair and comparable to other retailers. The company exposed and shared a lot of internal information that would be considered priviliged or confidential in other companies.

Cons

The company is very much focused on the image and branding of all employees regardless of location and regardless of position.

The only good thing about working at guess is the staff discount.

Hours are not good, salaries are average and the atmosphere is not very professional
