Pros

- discount on clothing, although I feel they should give a better discount for how much push their image and dress code! - my co-workers are awesome, although that may have nothing to do with the company really...

Cons

- My feet are absolutely killing me all the time. Wearing heels for eight hours straight is inhumane if you ask me...especially since I'm constantly walking all over the place trying to provide customer service. It's also difficult to be smiling constantly when it feels like your feet are about to fall right off. - No commission? That's REALLY lame...especially since most other places like Guess? provide commission to employees. Gift cards on a rare occasion aren't really much of an incentive...I'd much rather have actual money that can go to important things like bills, not clothes. - I've been with this company for ten months now and I've never received a raise. Most companies will give a raise after about six months or so, and I know it's not because of my performance. I've managed to stay in at least the top five for SPH month after month and have never received proper recognition. Also, they gave raises to a few employees a few months back. All of these raises averaged about 15-30 cent raises (WOW!) and a couple of these employees that got the raise had only ben working there for a couple months when I'd been there much longer than that...a bit unfair? I think so!

Pros

Great people. Great employee discount. If you consistently do well in sales, they promote quickly/

Cons

Inability to honor time conflicts with shceduling when manager was warned of such issues weeks ahead of time. Some sales associates really needed the hours, and the manager refused to give anyone more than 10-15 hours per week. Some only got 5, and there was this weird on-call thing they did. Basically they would put on your schedule for ex: Friday ON-CALL '2PM-8PM'. Which means that they may or may not call you to come in, and you can't make any other plans because they may call you at any time to come in. Sometimes, they wouldn't schedule enough people during peak hours, resulting in an increase of theft, a very messy store, and dissatisfied customers.
