Unlimited PTO means it's not really your PTO and only if approved. Studies have shown most people use less PTO when unlimited, and if you quit you don't get anything paid out. Projects were tough at times due to collaboration and time differences, since it is a global company. Would do work on project that would be undone by people across the globe.
