Pros

Highly skilled colleagues and a lot of opportunity for growth and development.

Cons

During my employment, the company was undergoing a lot of operational and business focus changes. Very business-traditional senior management culture.

Pros

Scott is a thoughtful, smart CEO that has done a great job navigating the pandemic. They moved early to have everyone work remote to stay safe and have communicated well throughout. Competitive compensation and not as much travel as Big4 consultancies, while still getting to take part in interesting work. Guidehouse is winning some big government contracts lately that are keeping people busy and engaged.

Cons

As a consultant, I do way too much administrative work. It causes burnout and it's inefficient. The IT infrastructure is also below average. Nothing works like it should.

Pros

Competitive salary Training availability Management that wants to see you succeed

Cons

Work life balance can be difficult to manage at times but I believe this comes with the nature of consulting.
