Kitchen stocked with snacks, beer Fridays, casual dress, you'll learn about the market and become a LinkedIn pro if you aren't already.

Cons

"Research Analyst" is a glorified term for a Sourcing Specialist - because that's all you'll do - source potential advisors on LinkedIn day in and day out. If you enjoy an unprofessional environment and a life of monotony from 8:45am (sometimes earlier) - 6:30pm (sometimes later) everyday then this is the place for you. If you don't, then it's tolerable but in no way fulfilling.

Fun coworkers, friendly environment and fast promotions (high turnover). Not that difficult to be promoted to a project manager position right after your first anniversary. Work hard during your first year and push for the next step. Be smart and use Guidepoint as a catapult into greener pastures.

Cons

Limited room for upward mobility and career development. You hit the ceiling in 2 years or so.
