Thank you for taking the time to leave a response. We agree that Guidepoint offers growth internally as well as giving you the skills and tools to move up in your career externally. We know working from home can be challenging and not ideal for many but believe it is in the best interest of public health to continue to work from home for the foreseeable future.

Pros

Generous compensation, young / social work environment, easy opportunities to move up the ladder

Cons

Monotonous job, ~90% of employees are white (very homogeneous group), weird drinking culture with creepy older men that hit on young girls

Ok for first job

Pros

Fun environment for recent grads. Don't stay longer than 1-2 years though. Decent pay for first job. Not much work/life balance in the PM position. I would recommend for people who: are still trying to figure out what they want to do with their lives after college and don't have big career ambitions in the moment; if you are planning on saving money to go to grad school and don't really care about developing skills; if you are interested in living in NYC and this is the most reasonable option.

Cons

You will develop some basic skills. Nothing really relevant to learn in the Associate/PM positions. Left without developing strong transferable skills. It can be harmful if you stay too long.
