Pros

open floor plan, some really cool people - made a lot of friends, casual attire,

Cons

Boring projects - you don't actually get to learn or be involved in, you are basically a recruiter. No bonus structure - it does not matter how you perform compared to others (and you know exactly how you compare because they send out numbers to the entire company every month). No promotion structure - anyone who is in a management position got it because of tenure. This means you have unqualified people you are answering to, providing no career growth. Salaries are very low and bonuses are even worse. No work from home flexibility and the worst part is, none of the work you do is collaborative. Meaning, you are just sitting there all day sitting at your computer calling people who do not want to speak with you and you do not get to work collaboratively for more than 15 mins a day. This is why it is so frustrating that there is no work from home capabilities, when all the work being done could be done remote. Another reviewer said it perfectly "If you enjoy an unprofessional environment and a life of monotony from 8:45am (sometimes earlier) - 6:30pm (sometimes later) everyday then this is the place for you. If you don't, then it's tolerable but in no way fulfilling."

Pros

I got paid the salary I requested. Nothing else to add regarding Pros.

Cons

If you're highly experience do not work there. Upper management are goons of the CEO. The majority became managers on tenure not based on qualification of being a good manager. Managers are threaten by highly motivated individuals and will thrown them under the bus at any chance they get. Long days and weekend work - so no work life balance. No bonus structure. No one there over 5 years - tells you something about the company. If you need a Paycheck, go work there until something better comes along. That the motto there...

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you giving us insight into your particular experience and are invested in ensuring a positive work experience for all Guidepoint employees. Many of our client service employees are exposed to many different industries and sectors and move on to careers within them. We also have a strong practice of promoting from within, and we have formal procedures to ensure employees are rewarded for their work. During review meetings, employees have an opportunity for self-evaluation as well as feedback from their manager against the objectives set. All employees are given targets to help them move into higher positions and all promotions are well-deserved based on performance and merit. We also have a quarterly bonus structure based on performance. Our standard business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with some longer hours required sometimes based on our client needs. To ensure there is no confusion we make sure to discuss positions here thoroughly throughout the entire interview process. Thank you again for your input. Pros

The company's product / service is great. The CEO is very smart and a visionary.

Cons

The CEO is VERY CHEAP! He will take the lest expensive option every single time. Salary's are very low and bonuses are even worse. Their poor pay inhibits them from hiring the talent they seek and compels existing employees to leave

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. At Guidepoint we value our employees, and work hard to show that appreciation in more ways than merely through compensation. Diligent members our staff receive recognition, access to training and mentorship programs, as well as ample opportunities for advancement within the firm. Unlike many of our competitors, Guidepoint is a private company and while that conveys many advantages, it also requires us to take a common-sense approach to all areas of our business. While we are highly committed to everyone who works here, unfortunately turnover is a natural event that all companies experience. Please email us at feedback@guidepoint.com should you wish to continue the conversation about your experience. Thank you again for your input, and best of luck to you in your future professional endeavors.
