Pros

I have been working for only two months at Guide Post Montessori School, and I love the positive environment with the coworkers, and the support I have when I have any questions, I also like the fact that we have all the materials available when need it, to work with the children. And I love to get to know every child individually and experience the connection with each one of them.

Cons

Perhaps a bit more training on work cycle stations, to be more efficient with the children.

My Dream Job!

Pros

Some of the best reasons to work at Guidepost is the administration and staff! I've worked with/for many people and no job has ever come close to the immense amount of support I've received while working here. Sam Sharp is the Head of School here at Guidepost at Spruce Tree. I can say that everyday I take something away from my work mainly because of her. She faces challenges with grace and always has an open ear to suggestions and concerns. I think what I enjoy most about Sam's direction is how she let's the Guides set the tone for each and every classroom. It can be very frustrating for a teacher when you are trying to do what you think is best for the children you work with everday, to then have administration tell you what they want for a classroom that they are never in. Sam makes it easy to lead a classroom and is always there as support. I can honestly say I have never been more honored to work for such an amazing company. I can not wait to continue on this journey.

Cons

With every Pro there is a Con, and if I had to there was a con to working at Guidepost, it would be that we don't have cardigan's with our logo. Honestly, I can't name any downsides to being employed here. If I ever do have issues they are always handled in the most appropriate and timely manner.

Pros

Working at Guidepost Montessori has been extremely fulfilling for me. It has given me the opportunity to passionately pursue my only personal professional growth while simultaneously taking part in the growth and development of the company itself. There are constant opportunities to take part in shaping the future of the rapidly expanding, mission-oriented company and to see a direct impact on the lives of children. The team of people assembled at Guidepost, from senior leadership, to campus leadership, to classroom guides, is excellent; I've enjoyed learning from and being guided by people in a range of positions, which is possible and encouraged by the open collaborative approach. In addition to benefitting as an individual seeking growth, I've gotten the opportunity to watch the mission in action through my own children. The company offers a generous employee discount on tuition and this has enabled me to watch my children thrive in the amazing authentic Montessori classrooms; knowing the value of what we offer in the classrooms to the students further fuels my passion for continued professional growth and definitely for continued growth of the company.

Cons

None that I've identified at this point.
