Pay is abysmal, poverty level wages with terrible raises. The management and corporate leaders are completely out of touch with the reality on the ground in the stores. You will be understaffed and asked to do things outside of your job. Expectations are extremely high, with near impossible standards to meet, all while being tasked with extra work outside your job that will ruin your metrics in sales and commissions. Don't expect any support from upper management, they don't care about you and you're on your own. Training is a joke, communication is poor, and customers are unbearable sometimes.

ZERO training or onboarding Hazing of new employees Senior employees have priority on sales / commission opportunities Archaic software and inventory systems High sales performers set the rules of the store, not the managers. Treat new employees poorly. List goes on… GC has a monopoly on enough gear and equipment that they don’t have to innovate or treat their employees well… so they don’t.
