Pros

Great discounts on gear, work with awesome people from all sectors of music, and get to play a lot of nice instruments when ever it's dead.

Cons

Can't get promoted without good credit. So if you don't make enough in commission to cover debt, you're hit with your credit, which leads no promotion to make more to help your credit. Compensation is minimal at best. It's set up for you to do a lot of work and make as little money as possible... Too many people drink the coolaid that corporate spreads around. Nearly everyone wants something better.

Pros

Working with many fellow musicians who also possess high quality skills.Good pay and benefits alongside challenging and interesting work.

Cons

Lack of feedback from management on job performance and/or lack of guidance. However, this could merely be individuals within the company.

Pros

Great advancement opportunities if you come in at the right time and show promise. Decent compensation if you're willing to bust your butt.

Cons

Some managers are just clueless, and think they have it all figured out. When in all actuality, they just happened to do well at the right time to get the bump.
