Good starting pay Fair health benefits Good 401 K matching

Cons

Assume if you start here, you average week will be a minimum of 50 hours ( usually more like 60) People in other departments screw up items and cover i up just too push it through to make the next department have to fix the item. Supervisors and management continually want, and expect more, from the employees. Schedules are ridiculous and are made by people who have no clue what they are expecting.

Pros

There are some great people working here. Pay is good. Some work centers have a lot of overtime if you want it. 401k match is very good.

Cons

There is a culture that is bad. I don’t use the offered medical but it is garbage. That may be from the affordable healthcare act, I’m told it was very good before that.

Gulfstream holidays are worse than normal days.

Decent pay for the area.

Cons

Weak management. Knee jerk reactions, and poor planning. Lots of mandatory overtime. Most holidays are not holidays at Gulfstream. They week prior to, and after a holiday you generally are forced to work the same amount of forced overtime as weeks where you have no holidays. Holiday weeks are generally more dismal than the average week. In the end the company consumes the same amount of your week after week. Expect to have 3 day weekends less than 10% of the time.
