      Pros

      Had/Has an amazing training program and the potential to be a great place to work.

      Cons

      No leadership programs for entry level titles, too much of good ol' boy mentality, struggles with making it a diverse and inclusive place (ie. good ol boy environment) and slow to the continuous improvement/lean/six sigma front and too much reliance on tribal knowledge (ie. good ol boy environment). The way they handled the past (2015) reduction in force took them from 4 to 3 stars for me. They just have to truly learn to do better.

      Pros

      Great work life balance. Wonderful people. Lots of opportunity to add value. I had a great experience.

      Cons

      IT maturity is low. Although I state this as a con, it inherently reflects the potential to add value and improve organizationally. IT needs to gain the trust of the business. This is a known fact, and is being worked. BRM - supported by ITSM - is key. "Silo" mentality. Teams need to share knowledge and success with others. Team management need to realize there is no "US" and "THEY". Everyone is a part of the Gulfstream / GD team.

      Pros

      During Reduction in Force there is a severance package depending upon years of service.

      Cons

      If rifted, there is no explanation of why or warning to the individual employee, no level of seniority is protected within the company, and no job prospects listed or job help list provided after separation during RIF process. No job search help given. No aviation competitive companies in Savannah other than Gulfstream to fall back on. Must seek work outside of Savannah.
