      Pros

      Gundersen has treats in employees very well including compensation, benefits, and educational opportunities. The mission is where it should be and the people truly live it. Job security is not a concern.

      Cons

      I feel that progressive thought is limited to those in management positions. While innovation is preached, very few have the opportunity to do so unless they have a management title.

      Pros

      Lots of advancement opportunities with clinics and hospital locations Good benefits Nice people to work with Beautiful facilities, especially new hospital

      Cons

      Parking is horrible, especially in winter. Also no parking at main campus for people who come in for meetings and have to leave again. End up spending 15 minutes just getting from the parking lot to the hospital/clinic. Cafeteria is awful. Only offer "healthy" options and therefore no burgers or fries. No chocolate to be found in hospital as they changed the vending machines to healthy treats only. Both staff and families want a treat now and then but you better plan for it.

      Pros

      They seemed to be family oriented, have pretty decent pay and benefits to offer along with internal opportunities once you were a permanent employee

      Cons

      Cost of family insurance benefits high, need to have longer training for each position instead of trying to do it with too many people in to short of time
