Pros
It's an easy job, but that isn't necessarily a good thing. You will have opportunities to learn about people and to work in a modern facility. It's a comfortable job for nurses.
Cons
Although some people get better on their own, outside of acute surgical interventions, the hospital itself is almost totally ineffective. Your soul will wither and die watching the hospital drain every bit of money they can justify from the savings and insurance policies of the injured and diseased. Meanwhile, two faced employees who do the least amount of work possible get the most respect from their coworkers and superiors. Doctors and specialists are quite busy. Everyone below the nurses is really looked down on. The culture is self congratulatory. Nearly everyone is too fearful to rock the boat and push for improvement because that would mean admitting that they are not already doing the best they can. If someone has a complaint, your coworkers will lie to protect themselves and they will lie to pin the blame on you if it will benefit them.
