Pros

Nothing to complicated, training is extensive and I felt very prepared.

Cons

Lack of tax knowledge can make some things difficult but not impossible.

Pros

The hours were good for the tax season, after the initial 3 months expect a sudden drop in hours working as a secretary.

Cons

Competition with other secretaries after the tax season has dropped down. Quite unfortunate really. The pay per hour was also low.

Have worked for H & R block for 9 years.....retired about 6 years ago....want to work close to home part time.....

Cons

Low salary other chores were fine....did not like to make phone calls soliciting.
