Great employees; poor company support for employees

Great: -Employees -Work-life Balance -Production Manager genuinely cares about employees participation in continuous improvement

Cons

Many employees complain about their salary. Many employees have worked for the company for over 15 years and they still get paid close to minimum wages. No severance package for life time work.

Decent working conditions. They do provide benefits but they are expensive. They provide a 401k but don't pay enough to be able to contribute.

Cons

Been with the company over 3 yrs and have yet to get a raise. Won't even discuss it...... same reply..... "it's not in the budget." Is it in your budget to replace someone like myself with an exceptional work ethic & 30 yrs. experience?!? AND not missed a day since I started! Pay is below the 2010 median as determined by the Dept. of Labor & Statistics!! Look it up! Communication is non-existent. A yr. now that company was bought by Haeco. Where are we going? How are we going to get there? What the heck is going on?

I can not give any positive feedback here. It paid my bills, is all I can say.

Cons

UPPER MANAGEMENT stinks, HR does not take care of people, and you will have to force them to actually do their jobs. The place is a downward spiral right now and will continue to be that way. Only thing keeping this inept and insipid place in business is there literally is no where else in the world to go for plane maintenance.
