Big time Company with Small time hypocrisies
Pros
A big plus is that it is not completely repetitive. The types of job cards are mostly similar but with just enough difference to keep your attention focused. No real chance to get complacent. You get to work on Airbuses. HAECO is widely respected in the aviation community so it looks good on resume.
Cons
Most of the leads have no skill with managing people and are consistently under utilizing their team. There is no cross training so if there is no work for your skill department you have to walk around to the other hangers to beg for job cards in order to make a days pay. sometimes you can go a week without work and the company only pays you for two hours a day on those days. Overtime is rare and only allowed in the hanger you are assigned so if another hanger needs more people to work and you have no plane you still can't work on your day off. your pay is not consistent.
