Pros

Generous benefit package including PTO.

Cons

Poor Senior Management Team. Newly implemented management changes have chased out an average of 1-3 great employees a week for several months straight. The Senior Management Team fails to rely on their assigned leaders. Instead, they insist on micromanagement as a part of their daily routine. Inadequate Training. No open door policy. HR is not an unbiased party to assist employees with internal matters. Confidential information regarding health or personal matters are not kept within Senior Management or HR. The office politics are suffocating to the rest of the staff. Constant fear of job security. Over the last 2-3 years the atmosphere has also turned extreme unprofessional. There is an unspoken internal club that resides within the front office. Without a membership, your daily contributions to the company's success will forever go unnoticed. Managers with poor behavior and ongoing history of treating employees poorly are rewarded with new promotional titles, and given a higher power and protection to behave badly. The morale within the office environment continues to drop each week with the continued poor behavior. How many great employees have to leave for a 'better opportunity' before someone tries to make some changes to retain the talent they initially searched for?

Pros

HARTING does feel like being part of a family that genuinely cares for your well-being as a colleague and employee. Benefits and work/life balance are top notch and there is a very good open door policy horizontally and vertically across the organization. People work together as a team to reach their objectives, even when times are stressful.

Cons

Company is growing quickly (not necessarily a con!) so there are many projects in the pipeline which require a high level of agility and comfort with ambiguity. This growth can create conflicting priorities, where to focus efforts and resources within and cross-functionally. However, senior management is aware of this constraint and manages it well.

Pros

Co-workers do their best to keep things going.

Cons

Communication from management is limited to 'open letters' or berating employees. Business goals keep changing.
