Pros

If you are looking to be in the AI space, that's exactly where Harvey sits. It's fun to teach prospects about an AI-native/forward platform like Harvey that AI is the core of it, not bolted onto a legacy platform. When those "aha" moments hit that Harvey is essentially all the different AI's they use in their day-to-day life, but specifically designed for their legal workflows, it's fun to experience their reactions. Harvey has been seeing explosive growth, but it's still a 3 year old company. That means it still operates like a startup in many ways for better or for worse, but the team is very much investing in the company as a very long term business. The bricks are being put in place and it still feels very early.

Cons

Can be looked at as a pro or a con, decent amount of travel if you're doing well in your role. Opportunities to do in person events, travel onsite, client dinners, etc. Big relationship role.

Thanks for sharing this feedback and for being part of our team on the frontline of AI! I love your callout on the bricks still being put into place, that feels very real today. And more than fair pushes on refresh grants and our moat, thanks for sharing the feedback and for being part of our growing team. Sincerely, Katie

Smart team, but the culture eats you alive

Pros

- Team is talented and competent across the board - Work-life balance can be strong, though it varies a lot by manager/team - High-trust environment day to day - Coworkers are generally kind and easy to work with

Cons

- A quiet but rapidly growing culture of bonding over shared frustration has taken hold among employees - awfully draining, and doesn't seem to be on leadership's radar - Large pay discrepancies across the same titles/roles - Leadership culture rewards a tight inner circle; promotions and flexibility are much easier to come by if you're in it - Outside that circle, policies are enforced rigidly with little room for exceptions - Minor issues are often escalated as make-or-break, keeping the team in a low-grade state of anxiety - Priorities shift quickly and without much warning - Highly ego-driven culture, which can make collaboration harder

Pros

- great marketing and fluff.

Cons

- internally the culture is toxic. managers threaten you to force you to work after hours. employees are often not treated with respect. - some early employees are arrogant and difficult to work with. - poor engineering processes - founders are no where to be seen to lead the company
