Pros

I would definitely have to say management. I hands down have the best management. Also, the flexibility is awesome. I have a second job and my Blake supervisor and director are extremely understanding and considerate. My actual coworkers are pretty great as well for the majority.

Cons

The pay is quite low in my opinion.

The physicians... and what little core staff is left....are a pleasure to work with

Absolutely the most poorly managed facility I have ever been affiliated with....many sentinel events, terrible staffing, astronomical turnover....in the past year the facility has hired and fired over 50 employees.....the last 2 CNO's have resigned or retired....the COO resigned.....the entire staff of directors and managers has turned over twice in the past year.....all travel contracts were cancelled prior to paying them their bonus......the list goes on.....you do not want to ever work here.......

I enjoy working at Blake Medical Center. The employees are really great to work with and are supportive of the community.

Cons

There is a lack of growth in the area where the hospital resides. The overall community seems reluctant to change with the times.
