Pros

It was a good job for a while, but after they fired the main Controller, their replacement - a head of another department - was extremely toxic, like a stereotypical toxic manager.

Cons

Toxic Managers that cannot be persuaded to like you no matter how well you perform.

Pros

Mission hospital (owned and operated by HCA Healthcare) offers competitive pay and shift differentials

Cons

HCA is not interested in actually providing "health care", they ARE concerned with making as much money as possible. What this looks like is frighteningly low staffing with very busy units. This is true from the ER, to labor & delivery, to the ICU, OR, and heart tower or step-down units. I will avoid this company at all costs. I truly felt like something horrible would happen and I'd lose my license.
