Pros

Benefits are decent that’s it!

Cons

Zero Chance of advancement within the firm. Zero chance of a pay increase. Not even cost of living. Overtime pay, if available, is structured so you make less money the more OT you work. Threats of termination are constant.

Pros

Very hardworking employees that care about their job and customers.

Cons

Leadership are sales people - tell you what you want to hear to keep you employed and working hard. They unofficially promote from within - they say do this for three months and we’ll change your title and compensate you. Never happens. There were mass walk outs and turn over due to toxic leadership. Also they are based in India and so is their HR - anytime compensation comes up they make laughable offers no where near market value for the city you live in.

Pros

Client Company is great, friendly people, good working enviroment.

Cons

Responsibilites are unparallel to that of the client employees, HCL Management expects one outcome, the client company has a different expectation and because HCL management is not educated on the actual position, the employee looks foolish. HCL pay is 50% or more lower than the other contingent workers doing the same role. You cannot live a decent life on this pay. HCL Management is absent until the problem blows up in your face, then they tune in and OVER manage the situation...On several occasions I have been given emails to client management that place an HCL team member in the scapegoat position. When brought to HCL Managers attention we were advised that we did not understand the "over all scope" of the email. It was clear, HCL Manager was using several hardworking employees efforts as sacrifice for the client, when it was really the HCL Managers fault.
