Pros
If you're looking for a place to work with down-to-earth, like-minded people, then this is the place. Since day one, I've felt like part of the team here. The difference between HHAeXchange and any other job I've worked is that people actually care about what you have to say. If you have a suggestion, say it! If you have a question, ask it! Everyday I come into work, I learn something new. The leadership is simply incredible and the atmosphere in the office will have you wanting to come back to work day after day. I honestly cannot see myself working anywhere else for a long time. I always feel welcomed when I come into work and feel like people actually want me here!
Cons
Learning the industry is definitely a challenge if you've never worked in home care before. However, don't let this lead you astray. I knew nothing about home care going in and rapidly learned so much in a very little time. The saying, "You get out what you put in" definitely applies here. All I can say is that you need to be driven to succeed but the reward for it is worth it in the end!
