      * Laid back atmosphere * No micromanaging * Co-workers focused on team building * Lots of learning opportunities * Good work-life balance

      Cons

      * HP's core markets, computers and printers, continue to stagnate * Slow to respond to changing market conditions * Frequent layoffs * Many IT jobs have been outsourced to 3rd party contractors and low cost centers * Too much focus on short term financial gains * Not enough focus on long term growth

      Pros

      Incredibly smart and talented employees. Great vision on future product development from brilliant engineers, but often not enough of a market demand for the leading edge products like immersive computing or enough marketing efforts to insure consumers are aware of product/service offerings & benefits.

      Cons

      Definitely cost structure challenged in any division reliant of Printer/Ink revenue due to shrinking market share for printers & ink (profit center). After the split from Hewlett Packard Enterprise this cost structure issue has become even more apparent with 2 layoffs in past year. Layoffs of seasoned workers and mandated hiring of employees fresh out of college or early career is current management directive.
