      Pros

      The work-life balance is very good at HP. You get to work with some fantastic people as well. Pay for my area is pretty good.

      Cons

      Where to start. This company is in dire need of recapturing its identity. Management gets too wrapped up tracking numbers and whole divisions have been created just to manage slide decks that are tracked at some level, but never followed. They've committed so many resources to tracking metrics that they are constraining themselves on working on product. Since the separation from the larger HP organization my role has changed into such a tactical job that I feel overpayed for what they want me to do. I've lost the connection of what I do and how I contribute to the larger goals at HP.

      IT Business Analyst & Project Manager

      Pros

      Salary and raises are inline with industry and sometimes better depending on company performance. Bonus structure rewards those that show strong value-add in alignment to the corporate vision and strategy. Lots of training opportunities for those willing to take the time to do it on their own time, limited time during normal workday due to workload and deadlines. Lots of very talented people to work with and most are open and helpful mentors for new employees.

      Cons

      No real vision on creation of new and evolving markets. All focus is on the "safe" markets that the company has been in for years. Leadership seems very resistant to new product and innovation for creation of new markets outside of compute and print.

      Pros

      Management team is good, very open. Solid company with well established processes. High potential on the 3D Printing market. Startup atmosphere after the split from Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

      Cons

      Company needs to redefine strategy quickly as the market for personal computers and printers is shrinking. Due to the split, some of the processes need to be redone, causing confusion in some cases.
