      Pros

      Ethical and fair management, able to flex working from home/office, helpful and inclusive work environment, knowledgeable and professional staff who are always willing to provide support, creative techniques for celebrating/including remote employees

      Sometimes different departments can become a little siloed, but company is taking steps to help with this through cross-functional Fun Committee

      Great learning opportunity, fast-paced, never a quiet moment

      Cons

      Can be high-stress, depending on client and although management tries to support HR Works employees, many times the client's demands end up overriding the well-being of the HR Works employees, making managers unable to provide appropriate support

      Pros

      HR Works has navigated a pandemic in a way that has made me, a working parent that at one point had to homeschool two young children, feel both valued and supported. At no point in the last two years have I felt that I needed to choose my job over my family. At no point have I felt more confident in my decision to move to and stay with HR Works. As an employee for almost 8 years, I've seen a lot of change and growth- we've navigated it well and continue to focus on our values. I'm also thankful for the growth opportunities I've been provided. I've worked hard and feel that I've been rewarded for those efforts. The best thing about HR Works is our people. I enjoy not only what I do, but the people I do it with; I am proud to be surrounded by HR professionals; it's really such a different experience! The leadership team is open to suggestions and is working on a number of initiatives to help continue to enhance the employee experience at HR Works, which I appreciate. The CEO is amazing and is not only an inspiration, he's a genuinely good and supportive leader. The future is truly bright and I'm happy to be a part of it! I can say I am very excited about the direction we're moving.
