Pros

- Doors of upper management always open. - Upper management will work with you. - Ability to grow. - Company cares about its employees. Quarterly birthday celebrations, holiday parties, friendly environment. - If you do your job, and do it right - you have great job security.

Cons

- Can be overworked (not sure if this is a con or pro)! - Laptops are old. - I don't know, no real cons besides this.

The worst job in the world

Pros

- Lack of follow up by management makes it easy to slack - Coworkers are nice (most of them) - Daily opportunities to laugh at the irony of 'smart' in the company name - No internet filtering or monitoring (youtube all day)

Cons

- Upper management are totally incompetent with regard to product strategy and employee morale - Wages, vacation and benefits are below industry averages; working hours are longer than average - Family nepotism in upper management - Software development 'process' (there isn't one) is a prime example of how NOT to develop software - The code is a total disaster and working on it is frustrating, boring and makes you want to kill yourself - No benefits in Canada (dental nor health). For 2 years mgmt has blatantly lied that they've been 'working on it'. - Bonuses are not paid out when the company hits revenue targets, even when employment contracts unambiguously state the bonus amounts to be paid for those revenue targets. - No recognition for quantity or quality of work. Initiative and creativity is not encouraged. - Salary raises: small to none

Pros

- Lots of customers - Multiple tecnologies

Cons

- They have its own CDSP software ( Career Development Succession Planning ) and after working there for 2 years I'm still waiting mine, there's no opportunity for you if you're not in USA. - The directors make changes, take decisions and change your priorities 2/3 times per week, so you can't finish anything and have to finish stuff w/o quality. - There's no good support and friendly communication between teams, when you need to work in another product the answer is always "take a look into the 300 tickets pool" - Their main product and how the solutions are implemented are a mess. - The Managers tell you they want to know how do you feel about the company and your position but when you open your mouth its like talk to a wall.
