Pros

This is a growing industry, so we're always hiring. Salaries are decent and we have a generous PTO policy. In addition, all employees are offered the opportunity to use 4 work hours per quarter for community volunteering (while getting paid).

Cons

The workload tends to be heavy and stressful most of the year. Makes work/life balance difficult to achieve. Certain processes and procedures take too long and hinder productivity. Most people are great, but as with all companies, there are a few non-team players.

Pros

Vacation time, some of the people are amazing, blah, blah, blah. The program seems to think there should be more pros for HSA Bank. I guess there probably should.

Cons

No recognition of hard work, zero support, no training, completely unrealistic workloads, bad pay, worse benefits. We have people walking off the street with no industry experience making more than current fully trained employees. The cherry on top of the crap sundae is that the fully trained, poorly compensated employees are expected to train the new, clueless employees. Explain that logic? And no, the new employees don't have more education. In some cases, they have less. I can't wait to leave.

Pros

People are nice to work with as long as you are not trying to bring in a change for the better; fast growing company; great niche business area. They provide free flavored coffee and tea!

Cons

It is small company that is growing but they still act as a small company. The people are resistant to change. Bringing any changes meets with very emotional and vocal resistance from the people who have been working with the company for longer duration. All their processes (technical and management) suit small business with 20 employees but not a company. They are seriously understaffed. This is the kind of company you want to join because you don’t have a job while you are looking for a job at a better company. This company is like revolving door; people join and leave quickly.
