Worst Experience of My Career

Pros

Paycheck, friends with some coworkers & clients, and working in a climate controlled building, Decent Pay

Cons

HUB International has been the most disappointing employer of my career. Throughout my time here, there was a consistent lack of support from leadership. Issues were frequently ignored or passed off to others, with no one taking accountability. This culture of avoidance extended to how clients were treated, customer needs were often sidelined in favor of profit or convenience to the managers, and it was disheartening to watch. The company is driven solely by stakeholder interests, with little to no regard for the quality of service delivered to clients. Any feedback or concerns were either dismissed or brushed under the rug. Morale is low, and burnout is high. It's clear the priority is revenue, not people.

No Career Growth

Pros

Company is very messy in structure and not willing to give growing opportunities to those within. I’ve been here for a year and half and have been praised for all my achievements of extra projects, willingness to help and train others and take on additional responsibilities consistently but no raise is ever offered and when asking to move up they tell you to master the position. Then they hire someone who has no qualifications for the position ahead of you and ask you to train them. This has happen to multiple co workers before me and I was warned- don’t waste your time here.

Decent benefit package, good work life balance.

Cons

Allow Producers to abuse account managers. Management’s response is always that’s the personality of a sales person. Zero support, no bonus or compensation for taking on more and more work. They let great talent walk and never fix the habitual complaints. The chinsy annual merit raise is a joke. There is no motivation to take on more work. I’m an outlying office you’re the black sheep. You will never be promoted.
