Textbook “Toxic Workplace”. Too cool to quit though.
Pros
Exciting work. New every day. Get to work with great people and machines, tools. Free lunch once a month. Get to really use your head. If you can look past politics, and layoffs of others, can be great job. New equipment added monthly. People come and go but I just do my job, and enjoy it. No problems.
Cons
Another review said Haas was a Toxic Workplace. I looked it up on Wikipedia. I wasn’t sure I knew what that was. The definition online described Haas, like they’d worked here too. “Over time, positively motivated employees drift away from the workplace and only employees comfortable in the negatively charged atmosphere remain on staff” Layoffs every few months. Demotions. Early retirements. Now people finding new jobs voluntarily. Going away handshakes, emails or lunches are happening every week. People finding they are worth more once they scared enough by layoff to send resumes out. Those that left have to work without supervision now. More with less.
