If you go to school, or have a family, get sick or get stuck in traffic you will get flak. They want every second of your time for them. This isn't a reflection of the company as a whole, however my location was pretty terrible. There is tons of turnover there.

Very needy and often helpless customers--especially old people, moms, and kids. Constantly explaining to people that their books are extremely common, not valuable, in bad shape, etc. Low wage--and even maximum raises are low (though benefits and bonuses help). FT is only 35 hrs a week, not 40. Because it's a good company with less turnover than average, can take a while for promotion.
