Pros
The work environment as a whole was interesting due to the different material coming in, cool finds and interesting people.
Cons
For how nice it was shopping at HPB before I started working there, I was surprised that so many people working there were miserable and angry. I quickly found out why, and a lot of it had to do with weak general management that was allowing long term supervisors to terrorize employees, seemingly for fun or to take some of their anger out on someone? I don't know, but it was terrible as a female to feel bullied by much older white men that were angry at the world and treating others horribly with seemingly no consequences. It was really disappointing and I got out before the year was up.
