no room for advancement, benefits such as health benefits cost 2x a company their size...family benefits cost between $300-$350 per pay period. ridiculous. some managers and directs need to understand that their role is to manage and understand people...c'mon common sense here. if the company could change in 4 areas it would be improved health benefits could be better for a company r size so could 401k matching no tuition reimbursement or payment for technical certifications not enough funding of IT to put in systems the company needs IT managers - cio is the most approachable visible friendly and honest executives i have met. i have never seen a cio talking to people directly on a daily basis before and many of us find it fun and refreshing. but the downside in IT is it has a few managers are unhappy and are bad influences on people. they are deliberately trying to undermine the other leaders. this group is actively getting others to go to this site to post negative things about IT and the leaders. a couple of the group were let go a manager and pm but 2 managers and other need to be let go too. not a surprise who everyone knows who they are.
