Pros

Empowering Human Potential. Very true statement. Everything in this company is geared toward that goal of giving someone their ability back.

Cons

It's a shame to see that the IT staff is worked harder than most. The expectation is that you will give up everything for the company. Your time, your family, etc. I've seen too many solid individuals leave because of it.

Pros

It is really difficult to get fired from this company. No micromanagement, acceptable benefits. Job Security is important in this day - I know I have that.

Cons

Insurance is expense through Hanger....you should expect 2% increase each year which usually doesn't cover the increase of the Health Insurance, unless of course you are making real good pay. Hanger underpays most of their employees and you practically have to beg for an increase. Local Management is a joke - they take clinicians who have played nice and move them into office management positions. Most of these managers have never had any training in business and the training Hanger gives is a few day training course. Corporate management doesn't seem to recognize any problems in the field. If you raise to much of a fuss over anything, you will be seen as a trouble maker. Bonus program is a joke, management talks up the bonus program all the time, yet the amount most of the employees get is not equal to the amount of effort put into this job. The managers get the majority of the bonus - they also will not let you know how the bonus program is structured. Offices are understaffed - not enough office administrator staff - you can't expect them to be able to help support you. The amount of hours you will need to work, in order to get everything accomplished, really cuts into your personal life. This wouldn't be so bad if your wages reflected the actually work you will be expected to do. We are constantly pushed to "hit budget" but no one is there to help you do that. Most employees just roll their eyes when we hear about the numbers we must hit. Wouldn't mind this so much if we could reap bonus benefits for our attempts
