Pros

Better than putting I bullet in your head..I think.

Cons

ALL they care about is MONEY and FAST PRODUCTION. These guys put the "M" in micromanagement. Do more..more...more MORE! And when you do? Do you think they would give you an accolade? Nope. THE ONLY time they tell you something is when its a criticism. I would say go work for another O&P company but all they will do is just buy the company you moved too. Incrediblely toxic.

Pros

Great coworkers, compensation is good.

Cons

Micromanagement at its finest, toxic and aggresive managers. Accounting department is a revolving door and their reputation preceeds them ...5 accountants gone within a year. If you value your physical and mental well-being , this is not the place for you. Also, not family friendly.

Pros

Median pay, paid holidays, no weekends

Cons

No room for upward movement unless you train to be a practitioner or move into an office position. Everyone acts like they are your boss and gets away with it. The practitioners try to treat everyone like they are an office assistant and take care of their paperwork and charting, instead of doing their jobs themselves. Severe lack of communication. They have bought up so many companies lately that people are losing their positions as consolidation happens. After an office is purchased they come in and reassign people to jobs they did not apply to, driving off most of the staff that didn't quit outright because they didn't want to work for Hanger in the first place. Raise capped at 3% no matter how good you are at your job or how much growth you show, and it's based on a points system (and no one ever gets a perfect score, that would be suspicious). The reviews are a joke as well, everyone gets the same generic form to fill out that focuses mainly on insurance, coding, scheduling patients and making budget. Not to mention the forced "We're Family" culture, trying to make people participate in what amounts to extra curricular activities. It isn't healthy to force people to live their work. It is fine to offer gatherings and camaraderie, but it isn't ok to borderline require it by pressuring people into participating.
