You made commission off every warranty and membership sold i had very nice coworkers those are the only pros

Cons

management put so much pressure to sell warranties, when you could only try so hard. I'm sorry but the tools there are cheap most people didn't see the need for the warranty all the cons at my store had to deal with management. They were rude and had no respect for employees. They would scream at us over our headset when i was clearly busy with customers, i eventually would take it off halfway through the shift. By far the worst job I experienced, however it could be different for other harbor freight locations because my issues all had to do with management.

-They pay their management well. -Benefits, PTO, Sick Time -Cashiers and Floor Associates can earn spiffs upon sales of programs

Cons

-Cashiers need more help from floor people, not given enough recognition -Emphasize on warranties, sales, ITC, programs more than employees or customers -Need to advance people who have seniority and deserve it -Schedule better for busy times -Need more training for management and employees

Relaxed working environment, open door policy, strong work ethic by everyone, passion for doing the right thing, unlimited growth potential, issues are addressed and resolved immediately. This is a company where hard work is acknowledged and appreciated.

Cons

No cons: Harbor Freight Tools is the last of its kind. A large privately owned nationwide retail organization that truly cares about its employees and gives back to its own. It's a company that believes in teamwork and acknowledges a job well done.
