Harbor freight is a great company with great benefits and great people. It's growing faster than most retailers. The growing pains that come with that are inconsistency in reporting, processes and communication, outdated technology and platforms being upgraded. If you can work with the fact that everything is under construction in a positive way, the company takes good care of its team. Store managers are even doing a Vegas conference this year, and our internal growth rate has gone up exponentially in the last 3 years.

Cons

Everything is being updated in the next few years, POS, scheduling program, truck process, inventory system. The frustrations of growing pains are prevolent.

Retail Associates’ wages are also evaluated and adjusted during the annual performance review period, in addition to other discretionary compensation we provide to our Associates.
