      This once proud company has lost it's way - it uses employees as it searches for direction. Very sad.

      Pros

      Fantastic customer base and strong dealer network makes connecting easier then at other places. Legacy and historical importance to community is hard to measure or match. Unique product

      Cons

      After the 100th, the focus turned sharply to short term gains. Add the recession and the ship seems to have lost it's rudder. There is excessive hours, intense political in-fighting, and severe lack of integrity. The once proud organization that could pride itself because it listened to both customers and employees has turned a deaf ear and in turn, made the place unacceptable to work at.

      Pros

      Helpful, smart, and friendly workforce. A lot of tribal knowledge although many of the smart old timers are running for the doors. Clean, organized floor.

      Cons

      The company WAS a great place to work. You used to feel like you were an important part of the family. Now you feel like the scared red headed stepchild of the family. Way too many upper management and bean counters. It's ALL about the stock price now. Employee involvement is almost non existent. If the company could get robotic androids to do the work, they would. Not real interested in suggestions. Just make sure you don't get hurt, or are late for work. They are looking for every reason to try and eliminate higher paid union worker, and replace them with temps, and casual workers at half the price.
