It's a truely exciting startup experience.
Pros
Harness ship fast. One or more production deployment every day, New feature can be released any day when it's ready without waiting for a release train months away. This is unheard of in any of the enterprise software company I worked for before. We truely practise on what we preach for - continuous delivery without the fear of break things. If you are tired of working on the legacy tech stack in your current company, and don't see light on when it's witched on to the latest and greatest, and up to the excitement and challenge of a startup building on best practice of the latest and greatest, this is the company for you. The Harness CD-as-a-service platform is built on top of NoSQL database; modular micro-services containerized and deployed into Kubernetes cluster hosted in the cloud; using best practices of security and secret management; using our own machine learning algorithms to verify our own deployments;a few clicks a fully functional/dedicated cluster including UI, multiple backend services and database with your code changes baked in can be provisioned just for QA verification. Some of my previous employers have tried years to achieve part of these but without success, it's all realized in Harness already. It's exciting to see Harness grow in terms of product capabilities every day and seeing new faces in every all-hands meeting.
Cons
Not much so far. You won't expect a startup has the full spectrum of benefits as more established companies.
