Pros

The benefits are good. The people are mostly friendly. They try to promote team spirit. Lots of books available to read.

Cons

The pay is not very competetive. There's a lot of traffic in and out of the location. 81 gets backed up often.

Pros

Perks of any large, established organization. Generous benefits package and books. You wouldn't be here if you didn't love books, authors, and literature. Access to great books and authors and the work is in support of that so that's a feel good. Smart people.

Cons

Management and structure surely varies somewhat depending on the group, but the work culture appears to be stuck in their old days. It is very hierarchical and one that encourages micro-management. It can also be very blame-focused and less problem solving, which creates an environment of less risk-taking and silences junior staff.
