      Underpaid and undervalued.

      Pros

      Good place if you're just starting in your career, decent vacation, some opportunities for growth, and remote work possible.

      Cons

      Underpaid but expected to work overtime with minimal benefits. Employees opinions don't matter at the end of the day, lots of internal politics, and no such thing as career development or additional training.

      Management has no strategic plan and they fly by the seat of their pants

      Pros

      Good benefits, holiday party, work from home if needed

      Cons

      In the absence of effective planning, managers engage in random activities. The managers have no plans, they try to move into states without having state reporting completed. They let people go because they are not pretty enough, or they went to the bathroom twice in a day. Only the managers work 8 hours everyone else is supposed to put in more than 8 without complaint.

      Common Sense rules- Business Minded

      Pros

      The management is willing to try new things and do what it takes to grow the business. They are driven by numbers and results. You get freedom to do what is best for the client as long as you can manage the workload and make a business case. Work life balance is great and they will do what makes sense.

      Cons

      HR is very slow in general and this takes the excitement out of the hiring process - perhaps to make you settle for a lower number. Bonuses are nothing to write home about. Lots of assumptions that you know what every other business unit is doing, even if you never heard of them.

      Thank you for your comments. We definitely foster an environment of autonomy. We continue to look at our HR and hiring process and add resources as necessary. We also have worked hard to improve the overall understanding of Harris; verticals, business units, business model, and culture. We will keep this as a priority.
