      Growth but no real professional growth

      Great benefits Tuition reimbursement Many positions available Great management/director staff

      IT recruiters are not helpful No professional room for growth if you are not a nurse I had been working here since 2012 graduated with my bachelors in Management Information Systems couldn't get a job with IT or administration here so I applied somewhere and got offered making more than the position offered here. They have a culture of hiring outside rather giving internal candidates an opportunity. They are known for letting people leave (like myself) and they come back and get offered more when they come back which is the most non-resourceful thing HR can do. Recruiters are very rude and not willing to help.

      Toxic Work Environment

      Pros

      Harris Health’s mission, and the genuine and dedicated employees who care about Harris Health beyond just receiving their paycheck.

      Cons

      I do not really know where to begin... the toxic work environment that some employees are subject to at Harris Health is beyond atrocious. Many coworkers and myself have wanted to leave Harris Health so many times and eventually, if things do not change, we will. I have stayed as long as I have because I care so much about the patients we serve and the the genuine people working at Harris Health who make it worth coming to work everyday.

      Benefits pay locations many good co-workers

      Cons

      Bad managers who are allowed and tolerated by upper management to harrass and abuse their workers. They prefer to hire and promote from outside rather than within.
