Pros

competitive compensation, improving and growing facilities for patients and staff, diversity. New and advancing technology. Busy work environment. Personally fulfilling work

Cons

Lack of direction and foundation. Poor leadership. Mismanagement of money, the budget and multiple other resources. Quality of patient care, overall staff workmanship and empathy is poor and lacking which filter from the CEO to staff members. Overall moral is at an all time low. An exodus of great talent has left the company which overall has weaken the hospital system in the past years. Greed and poorly planned fast growth has set the hospital system back decades. Its hard to stop the bleeding when the leaders of the hospital system don't know how and dont care to know how except when it comes to audits and presentation to get more state and federal money.

Pros

Zero. None. Nada. Zip.

Cons

Do not consider accepting a position on the PeopleSoft support team at Harris Health unless you enjoy being belittled, insulted, and mistreated by management.

Friendly place to work

Pros

Majority of employees are very friendly, caring, hard workers.

Cons

Yes, you have 8 holidays off. But employer doesn't pay you for them. You have to USE YOUR OWN PTO (paid time off aka vacation time) to pay for your holidays. That is beyond ridiculous. That isn't what I would consider a "benefit" of the job. I have never heard of a job that makes you use your own PTO to pay for your holiday off. Over a year's period, that is 64 hrs of PTO, almost 2 weeks worth. I would much rather go use it all at one time to take a nice relaxing vacation.
