Pros

+ Nice colleagues + Good benefits + Flexibility (though that is going to go away) + Beloved products (though the quality of those also decreases)

Cons

- Restructuring for 3 years straight now - Frequent layoffs (about 10% of the office every 3 months) - No communication after restructuring (like who does what now) - Job-scope creep (they let everyone go and just "assume" someone else will pick up the tasks) - Many bills go unpaid/to collections - Everything being outsourced to people with no experience/knowledge about regional practices and laws - Little to no opportunity for advancement - Top-down decision making

Pros

Brilliant people working at the top of their game to produce amazing products. Very friendly culture and good amount of fun to be had as an employee. Although long tenured staff feel like there's been a downgrade in benefits, for most of us who have worked at other companies before Hasbro, the benefits are competitive. We have two annual shutdown weeks (where we are all off without using PTO) + 4 weeks PTO + holidays. We can work from home 2 days/week. We have free starbucks at the Pawtucket office, subsidized delicious cafe lunch. Free snacks and soda all day. Not to mention the large amounts of free swag and discounted product. We also get to travel A LOT compared to other firms. And at the end of the day we make toys and games, there's a lot worse things to be a part of.

Cons

There has been a lot of change and that can always result in some tension or angst. Employees are at all over the spectrum with their engagement and it would be great to be "on the other side" of this transformation.
