“I Have A Bad Feeling About This…”

Pros

- We make toys. - People love toys. - Hasbro’s Global Day of Joy is an incredible company-wide initiative. - Most of the people here are pleasant and want what’s best for the company.

Cons

- The new senior leadership team is not transparent, despite their claims to be. - We just had huge layoffs of full time employees and now they’ve gone and fired all the contract workers too. Who do they think is going to do the work? - People are overworked and underpaid, unless they’re in senior leadership. - Mixed messages about priorities. The focus is on “fewer, bigger, better” but still feels like everything is a #1 priority. - Employee burnout is talked about ad nauseam but no one actually does anything concrete to help alleviate workload.

Good perks, bad morale

Pros

Half day Fridays year round, 20 days PTO plus generous company holidays (week off between Christmas and New Year’s), get to work with some really kind and talented individuals

Cons

Really low company morale after several significant lay offs, work demands do not change in spite of losing team members, promotions are incredibly hard to come by so growth is nearly impossible even if more is asked of you
