Pros

Salary and benefits were great. People that I worked with were passionate and hard working. New management is working hard to streamline, but that causes layoffs and cutbacks.

Cons

Industry is mature and shrinking. Several of the larger toy companies are all fighting in the same market. Be prepared for continued layoffs. In my area it was expected that the days were long and many times work would interupt family plans, vacations and weekends.

Pros

Tons of free and reduced $$ toys. Finish at noon on Friday (if you complete 37.5 hours the other 4 days), free movie passes to Hasbro films, fun corporate activities, charity and volunteer opportunities, Decent salaries, "Hasbro University".

Cons

They are CONSTANTLY changing the way they work (every 4-6 months), new systems, new processes. Little collaboration between departments. HR is incredibly ineffective. Little room for advancement. A change of command at certain levels of management, there are senior managers that have been ruling for 40+years. These autocratic individuals rule with a mighty fist and divide their worker bees. Some inappropriate managers,. Office moral in certain departments very low.

Pros

Semi-casual environment, 1/2 day Fridays, decent pay.

Cons

Upper management has almost no clue what the worker bees are really doing. Lack of communication between managers and subordinates. Too much work and not enough help.
