      A former powerhouse struggling to perform during Post-Covid

      Pros

      Working with IPs that span generations. The Pawtucket office is incredible. Work Life Balance is phenomenal. 1/2 day Friday’s year round. Vacation time is best in class.

      Cons

      Pay is abysmal compared to other companies in New England. Upward growth opportunities/raises do not exist. With the company struggling for the last few years any opportunities for raises or promotions are scarce. Upper management cares only about stock holders. Decisions are driven by what the CEO is “feeling” and not by actual data from the market. CEO only cares about lining his pocket. He laid off large amounts of workers twice in one year all while taking home a massive bonus to his salary (public information as it is a publicly traded company), while regular associates were told that there were no bonuses or raises due to company performance. The CEO since joining Hasbro has been a parasite to the business and his decisions are tanking the company. Layoffs happen almost annually, you will have a constant fear that you’re on a chopping block.

      Lots of paid vacation time. 1/2 day Fridays. Fun activities at times.

      Cons

      Lots of layoffs recently. Being in Sales and cutting sku's and licensing most of the brands out. Does not have a great company culture like it had before Covid.
